Effective Date: 17 August 2026 | Event Date: Sunday, 27 September 2026
FLEXATHON — Participant Waiver & Health Declaration
This Participant Waiver & Health Declaration applies to participation in FLEXATHON 2026 — The Global Goals Run, organised by Flexon Sports Foundation.
Race Categories: 3K, 5K and 10K
Date: Sunday, 27 September 2026
Please read this declaration carefully before registering or participating.
By accepting this declaration, you confirm that you understand the physical nature of the event, voluntarily choose to participate, and agree to comply with the safety and participation requirements stated below.
01. Voluntary Participation
I confirm that my participation in FLEXATHON is voluntary. I understand that FLEXATHON is a running and physical-activity event and that participation requires an appropriate level of physical effort depending on the race category I have selected.
I have considered my own health, fitness, preparation and ability before choosing to participate.
02. Health Declaration
I declare that, to the best of my knowledge:
- I am physically and medically fit to participate in my selected FLEXATHON category;
- I am not knowingly participating contrary to medical advice;
- I have not knowingly concealed a condition that would make my participation unsafe;
- I will take reasonable responsibility for my health and wellbeing before and during the event; and
- If I have any concern about my ability to participate safely, I will seek appropriate advice from a qualified healthcare professional.
FLEXATHON and Flexon Sports Foundation do not provide individual medical clearance merely by accepting registration. Registration should not be interpreted as medical confirmation of fitness.
03. Pre-Existing Medical Conditions
If I have a medical condition, recent injury, ongoing treatment or other health concern that may affect my ability to participate safely, I understand that I am responsible for obtaining appropriate medical advice before participating.
Where appropriate for my safety, I will carry any medication or medical information that I normally require.
04. Illness or Injury Before the Event
I understand that I should reconsider my participation if, before the event, I experience fever, acute infection, recent injury, severe weakness, unusual breathing difficulty, chest discomfort, or worsening of an existing condition.
Where uncertain, I will seek qualified medical advice rather than relying on general information.
05. Acknowledgement of Inherent Risks
I understand that road-running and community-running events involve inherent risks (slips, trips, falls, collisions, uneven surfaces, crowd movement, muscular fatigue, dehydration, heat-related illness, weather, and traffic).
I voluntarily accept the ordinary and inherent risks associated with my participation.
06. Personal Responsibility During the Event
I agree to take reasonable care of my own health and safety: running at a suitable pace, hydrating properly, using appropriate footwear/apparel, staying on the prescribed route, and stopping or slowing down when necessary.
07. Instructions of Event Officials
I agree to comply with reasonable safety and operational instructions issued by race officials, medical personnel, marshals, volunteers, police, and traffic authorities.
08. Medical Withdrawal
I understand that authorized medical personnel or event officials may require me to withdraw if continuing presents a material safety risk. My health and safety take priority over finishing.
09. Emergency Medical Assistance
If I become injured or unconscious, I authorize FLEXATHON to arrange emergency first aid, ambulance transport, or hospital treatment on my behalf.
10. Emergency Contact
I confirm that emergency contact information provided during registration is accurate and authorize event personnel to contact that person in case of an incident.
11. Hydration, Weather and Environmental Conditions
Outdoor conditions (heat, humidity, rain) require personal judgement. Where weather poses significant safety concerns, the Organiser may adjust, delay or suspend the event.
12. Race Route and Public Environment
I will remain attentive to surroundings, stay within marked course boundaries, and avoid restricted zones.
13. Personal Belongings
I am responsible for securing my own valuables (phones, watches, jewelry, cash). Baggage facilities, if available, operate subject to event guidelines.
14. Alcohol, Drugs and Impairment
Participating while impaired by alcohol, narcotics or unsafe substances is strictly prohibited and results in immediate disqualification.
15. Event Rules
I agree to comply with all FLEXATHON Terms & Conditions, timing protocols, and official communications.
16. No Guarantee of Completion
Registration does not guarantee race completion. Personal health and safety must always take precedence over finishing times or distance goals.
17. Personal Insurance
Participants are responsible for maintaining their own health, medical, or accident insurance coverage as needed.
18. Limitation and Preservation of Legal Rights
The Organiser is not liable for ordinary inherent risks voluntarily assumed. Mandatory statutory consumer rights under Indian law remain unaffected.
19. Informational Content Only
General training, nutrition or hydration advice provided on the website does not constitute individual medical advice.
20. Handling of Health Information
Health information voluntarily submitted (e.g. blood group) is handled securely strictly for emergency response pursuant to our Privacy Policy.
21. Photography and Media
Participation in public sporting events involves general race photography and media coverage governed by the registration notice and Privacy Policy.
22. Participants Under 18 Years of Age
Participants under 18 must have the waiver authorised by a parent or legal guardian confirming fitness, inherent risk awareness, and emergency medical consent.
