By accessing this website, registering for an event, or participating in any FLEXATHON activity, you acknowledge and agree to the following disclaimer, together with the applicable Terms & Conditions, Participant Waiver, Privacy Policy, Refund/Cancellation Policy and other event-specific rules published by the Organiser.
01. General Information
Information provided on this website is intended for general informational, promotional and registration purposes relating to FLEXATHON and its associated programmes, campaigns and events.
While reasonable efforts are made to ensure that information is accurate and current, event information may be updated from time to time. The Organiser does not warrant that all content will at all times be complete, error-free or uninterrupted.
Where there is any conflict between general website information and specific event rules, registration terms or official communications issued by the Organiser, the most recent applicable official terms shall prevail.
02. Independent Initiative — No United Nations Affiliation
FLEXATHON is an independent initiative and is not an official event, programme, campaign or project of the United Nations.
References to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), Global Goals, individual SDG numbers, names, colours, icons or related concepts are made solely for purposes of awareness, education and alignment with internationally recognised sustainable-development objectives.
Unless expressly confirmed in writing by the relevant organisation, nothing on this website should be interpreted as indicating or implying any endorsement, sponsorship, partnership, accreditation, approval or affiliation by the United Nations, any United Nations agency, programme, fund or other international organisation.
Any third-party names, logos, icons, trademarks or other intellectual property appearing on this website remain the property of their respective owners and are used subject to applicable permissions and guidelines.
03. Event Information and Changes
Event dates, timings, venues, routes, race categories, reporting times, facilities, schedules, prizes, activities and other arrangements are subject to change where reasonably necessary due to operational, safety, regulatory, weather, security or other circumstances.
The Organiser reserves the right, subject to applicable law, to modify, postpone, reschedule, relocate, shorten, alter or cancel any event or component of an event where circumstances reasonably require it.
Participants are responsible for checking official FLEXATHON communications and the website for relevant updates before attending an event.
04. Participant Health and Physical Fitness
Running and participation in sporting events involve inherent physical risks.
Each participant is responsible for determining whether they are medically and physically fit to participate in their selected race or activity.
Participation should not be undertaken against medical advice or where a participant has a health condition that may make participation unsafe.
Participants with medical concerns, pre-existing conditions, recent injuries or other health risks should obtain appropriate advice from a qualified healthcare professional before participating.
Information provided by FLEXATHON regarding fitness, training, hydration, nutrition, wellbeing or health is general information only and does not constitute medical advice or replace consultation with a qualified healthcare professional.
05. Assumption of Risk
By participating in a FLEXATHON event, participants acknowledge that road running, walking, physical activity and attendance at large public sporting events may involve risks including, without limitation, fatigue, dehydration, falls, collisions, weather-related conditions, traffic-related hazards, illness, injury or other unforeseen circumstances.
Participants are expected to follow event rules, route instructions, safety announcements and directions issued by authorised event officials, medical personnel, security personnel and volunteers.
Participation remains subject to the applicable Participant Waiver and event-specific terms accepted during registration.
06. Emergency and Medical Assistance
The Organiser may arrange reasonable first-aid, medical and emergency-support measures for an event.
Such facilities are intended as event-support measures and should not be interpreted as a guarantee against injury, illness or medical emergencies.
Where reasonably necessary for participant safety, the Organiser or authorised medical personnel may recommend or require a participant to discontinue participation.
07. Registration, Payments and Third-Party Platforms
Registration may be facilitated directly through FLEXATHON or through authorised third-party registration, ticketing or payment-service providers.
Transactions processed by a third-party provider may also be governed by that provider's terms, privacy practices and payment policies.
The Organiser shall not be responsible for independent technical failures, payment-processing interruptions, banking failures or service outages attributable solely to third-party systems, except to the extent responsibility cannot lawfully be excluded.
Registrations, transfers, cancellations and refunds are subject to the applicable FLEXATHON Registration Terms and Refund/Cancellation Policy.
08. Prizes and Competition
Where an event includes competitive prizes, awards or recognition, eligibility shall be subject to the official race rules and verification requirements published or communicated by the Organiser.
The Organiser may verify participant identity, category eligibility, timing results, route completion and compliance with race rules before confirming any prize.
Participants who violate event rules, provide inaccurate registration information, engage in unfair conduct or fail required verification may be disqualified in accordance with applicable event rules.
Prize amounts, where announced, are subject to applicable laws, taxes, statutory deductions and eligibility requirements.
Official results confirmed by the Organiser following any required verification shall determine prize eligibility.
09. Minors and Young Participants
Participation by minors is subject to applicable event-category requirements and any consent, supervision or safeguarding requirements specified by the Organiser.
Where required, registration and participation by a minor must be authorised by a parent or legal guardian.
Parents, guardians, schools and accompanying institutions remain responsible for complying with applicable supervision requirements communicated for the event.
10. Sponsors, Partners and Exhibitors
References to sponsors, partners, vendors, educational institutions, community organisations or other third parties do not constitute an endorsement or guarantee by FLEXATHON of their independent products or services unless expressly stated otherwise.
Third-party organisations participating in an event remain responsible for their own representations, products, services and activities.

Such circumstances may include severe weather, natural disasters, public emergencies, government or police directions, regulatory restrictions, public-health emergencies, civil disturbance, infrastructure failure, transport disruption, security threats or other events that make proceeding with the event unsafe, unlawful or impracticable.
Any refund, credit, transfer or alternative arrangement arising from such circumstances will be governed by the applicable Refund/Cancellation Policy and mandatory legal requirements.
